Joliet Township Government Pushes $11K On The Backs of Taxpayers

Did you expect your Township Government would do this to you?

As you will see (below), the Township's 2012-2013 Budget Tax Levy (#302-2012) was filed with the Clerk of Will County as a tax levy upon the Citizens of Joliet Township... The Township has pawned-off $11,000.00 (eleven thousand dollars) in government spending (or debt) as "MISCELLANEOUS" on the backs of taxpayers. See below:

Think back to last year or this year's federal and/or state tax returns... Were you able to file $11,000 as an exempt/write-off simply because you labeled it as "MISCELLANEOUS"? Not many of us can. But that is exactly what the Joliet Township Government has done to the people.
In this day of high-tech computers and online resources, is there any reason not to account for YOUR TAX DOLLARS SPENT? When you're taxed at the Federal, State, County, Township and City level, for government services, don't you deserve to know how your government is spending your hard-earned tax dollars?
If you Elect Candidate Ryan Alm for Joliet Township Trustee, he will fight for greater transparency in local government and fight to ensure that every one of your tax dollars are accounted for. In these tough times, when government is asking more and more of your money to fund its operations, it should be responsible and spend your money wisely. Vote on April 9th 2013, for Ryan Alm for Joliet Township Trustee.
